16/12/10 Lightening fast Minicrib.

I had occasion today to relook at Mini Crib and was delighted to discover on the latest version (MinicribAdv209) a facility that will produce a Crib Sheet simply by pasting in a list of dances. eg. from our website.

1. Go to Classes (or wherever the list is located) and then find the "Thursday Programme for Session". Go to the week you want, and copy the list in the usual way. eg. Social Programme for that night. NB Do not worry about references to Walk, Talk, (R), 32 bar, etc, etc as you will get a prompt that will easily edit these out later.

2. Open up Mini Crib, find the "footprint icons" on the LHS of the top toolbar. Select the one that says LIST with a diamond underneath it "Select Cribs as Per List" (5th along on my computer).

3. On the blank page that appears, enter a Title for the event (optional), click OK, then Paste (what you copied earlier) onto another blank page that appears. Your list should appear. Press "Proceed". Then BINGO!
[ NB On my computer, for some strange reason, the usual "right click of the mouse" did not work to Paste the list and I had either to Press ALT + X to Paste, but another time it was CTRL + V. Inexplicable!!!]

PS I would appreciate feedback on this. How easy did you find it? Are there other tips like this that you would like me to put on the website? Thanks. webmaster@leicesterrscds.org.uk

12/7/10 "Summer Tuesdays" a new dance devised by members of Leicester RSCDS Tuesday Afternoon dancers who danced almost non-stop all last summer (well, you know what I mean).
